The nest is built mostly of spruce or hedges with moss, roots and branches. The nest is lined inside with feathers, hair and grass. The brood consists of 4 or 5 eggs blue with patches of red and violet points blacks. The female broods two or three times a year for about thirteen days. The male and female participate equally in the care of small brownish color. Time care of children lasts 16 or 17 days.
Feeding:The finches feed primarily on seeds and pits. They are easily habituated to human contact, also because of his food with sunflower seeds.
